Ingredients:

  • 8 slices of Sumo Wonder Okara Bread: We recommend Milky Rich or White Delight.
  • 500g ground beef or chicken: For a hearty, protein-packed filling.
  • 1 jar (about 24 oz) of marinara sauce: Choose your favourite for a rich tomato flavour.
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese: Adds creaminess to the layers.
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese: For that gooey, melty goodness.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese: For an extra layer of flavour.
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped: Adds a savoury base to the meat sauce.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced: Enhances the flavour of the sauce.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil: For sautéing the onion and garlic.
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs: A mix of basil, oregano, and thyme.
  • Salt and pepper to taste: To season the meat sauce.

Instructions:

Making the Sauce
